Project M1 R1



We have been approached by a customer that has asked us to help supply and plan the build of a Yamaha M1 using his supplied Yamaha R1.

Parts and work to complete.

  • Order Bodywork.
  • Order R6 Headlight
  • Service kit, K&N filters and oil.
  • Samco hose kit ( 16 part kit with clips )
  • Pc3 and Quickshifter
  • Rad Cover
  • Drop bike of with Racefit and have single exit Carbon GP exhaust built on the bike.
  • Drop bike of with Painters and have Rossi replica paint work.
  • Deliver bike to back to customer.
  • Customer to complete build with Wavys, Brembo upgrade
  • Ride the bike over to the TT 2013


Jesters allready deal with a company in Portugal called "Lacomoto" and they make the bodywork for the R1.

They can supply all of the parts in Glass or Carbon to convert your R1 in to a true M1 replica. ( details on oue site HERE )

Full M1 bodykit.

  • Front fairing - (with Light Holes)
  • Front fairing support (2 pieces)
  • Road lights - (UK Yamaha R6 03 05)
  • Screen
  •  Tank cover
  • Foam Seat
  • Ram Air intake Tubes - (2 pieces Carbon Fiber)
  • Belly Pan
  • Front fender
  • Front Fender Sides - (2 pieces) in (Carbon Fiber)
  • Tail fairing with road light - (Stop light only)
  • Under seat enclosure
  • Swingarm arm protection - (Carbon Fiber )
  • Rear hugger - (Carbon Fiber)
  • Exhaust Cover - (Carbon Fiber)
  • Exhaust Bracket - (2 Pieces) in (Carbon Fiber)
  • Termigonini Decal for Exhaust - (Heat resistant)
  • All Fastenings and Fixings

All of the above will be ready in around 2 / 3 weeks and is getting shipped to the uk.

The bike is due in to the workshop in 2 weeks and will then be stripped ready for the build.

  • Renthal Race Clips-ons inc 2x Grips.
  • Quick action Throttle inc 3x different settings
  • Motorized Registration Plate Bracket
  • Custom Registration Plate
  • Ohlins steering Damper
  • Brembo 19x18 Brake Master
  • Brembo 16RCS Clutch Master
  • Brembo 15ml Brake Reservoirs-w/ Hoses
  • 520 Superlite Sprockets & Gold race chain Kit - 16t/45t
  • 4x NGK Iridium spark Plugs
  • K&N Air & Oil Filters + Silkolene Comp 4 oil
  • Full set of Blue Samco Silicone Coolant Hoses x16 pieces + Stainless clips.
  • Titanium radiator guard + Extra sheeting for below radiator
  • Alarm
  • Front ZIP LED indicators x2
  • Rear ATOM LED mini indicators x2

The bike has now been dropped into Racefit for the pipe work to be made up, just need to get the bodywork fitted.

Part 2 

Remove factory bodywork.
Start fitting all of the abbove parts.
Fit Lacomoto bodykit
Install GP exhaust
Paint Bike

  • Fairing cradle









PART 3  Now the bike is down at Wicked Coatings ( HERE ) having some Carbon Dipping and then the full paint job.

Then Back home for the final fit and check up.


  • Remove the Wheels and replace the Wheel bearings.
  • Install the New Sprockets & Chain.
  • Fit the new Chain adjuster blocks.
  • Install the New rear Disc rotor brake.
  • Install the Quick Action throttle assembly.
  • Fit the K&N Air filter.
  • Install the Alarm system.
  • Fit Front wheel Spindle Evotech Bobbins.
  • Reg Plate
  • Fit the indicators
PART 4   All done and back in time for the customer.
